Mr. & Mrs. Majorie- Dallas, TX Wedding Photographer
Mr & Mrs Boyd- Dallas, TX Wedding Photographer
What makes b&w so romantic like? I don't know, but I like it.
I don't like to take pictures at night, the lighting is not as good (duh!) but if you want to shoot weddings, you deal with it and make the best of it. So I did. And I must say, I'm pleased with the outcome.
The last shot is my favorite. It's even gotten me to consider getting out of my comfort "light" zone and try some night shots... maybe?

Harrison & LeAnn- Dallas, TX Family Photographer
An interesting story behind this location, well I think it is interesting.
In high school, we used to pile into a friends car and go to "goat man's bridge" at night. I can't remember the haunted story behind it, only being scared out of my witz every time. So, walking up to this location gave me goose bumps. Even to this day, the place still scares me.
These pictures made it all worth it though!
Gina- Dallas, TX Portrait Photographer
Not only is she a pretty face... but she's a rock star behind the camera too. It's awesome to have a personal photographer, just sayin.
Me- Dallas, TX Self Portrait Photographer
One of my 2013 goals (and promises to myself after I graduated school, having more time) is to take more self portraits.
Self portraits are important. They are an important step to learning who you are as a person and an artist.

Me- Dallas, TX Self Portrait Photographer
Who is the best person to practice on? Yourself.
Is it a little nerve racking? You bet.
Does it help with image issues? Maybe...
Awkward self portraits.
Emily & Erica- Dallas, TX Portrait Photographer
You can't beat a Texas summer sunset. Enjoy these golden rays while you sit all bundled up during this winter.
Little Mary Beth- Dallas, TX Newborn Photographer
These are about a year old... as is the sweet little girl in the draw below. But better late sharing than never! Look at those cheeks. Don't you just want to squeeze them?
This is one of my first attempts at newborn photography. All of these photos are of the last 30 minutes or so of the shoot. Note to all budding photographers and mommies wanting photos of their newborns out there: Take photos during their sleep schedule and make sure they are nice and full. A little heating pad wouldn't hurt either.
Dean & Becca- Dallas, TX Engagement Photographer
There something about a Texas field and a couple of love birds. I've had the pleasure of taking Becca and Dean's photos for a few years now and they just keep getting cuter by the year.
These photos are a little blue. But they had a certain quality to them I didn't want to change by editing them. So as they say... #nofitler
